DID YOU KNOW

ICAO Technical Instructions represent the official legislative provisions for the transport of dangerous goods by air for all member states globally (and the airlines registered within those states).

Many shippers, forwarders and carriers involved in the transport of dangerous goods by air are not aware that the “regulations” they have become accustomed to using over years are actually based on an underlying framework set out under Convention by ICAO (The International Civil Aviation Organisation).

ICAO publish a revised version of the Technical Instructions every two years, based on their knowledge of the pace of change in the type and nature of dangerous goods materials being transported by air.
